What BuyerBrief collects
BuyerBrief collects the listing URL you submit, your buyer-intake answers, optional email address, technical request information, payment-session metadata, and optional report feedback. We do not ask for account passwords, bank details, Social Security numbers, or full identity documents.
How we use it
- To read the public listing page and generate your property-specific report.
- To create and verify Stripe Checkout sessions.
- To cache your temporary report request and generated report for the purchase flow.
- To debug failed payments, failed report generation, refunds, abuse, or product-quality issues.
- To review optional feedback and improve BuyerBrief.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. BuyerBrief does not store your full card number. Stripe may collect and process payment, billing, fraud-prevention, and receipt information under Stripe’s own privacy policy.
AI and service providers
BuyerBrief may send listing text, extracted listing facts, buyer intake, and matched risk flags to AI and infrastructure providers so the report can be generated and delivered. We use service providers for hosting, temporary storage, payments, listing-page reading, logging, and AI report generation.
Retention
Report request data is designed to be temporary in the v1 product flow. Some operational records, such as Stripe payment records, feedback, logs, and refund evidence, may be retained longer where needed for support, accounting, security, and product improvement.
Your choices
- You can avoid submitting private notes in the listing/intake fields.
- Email is optional unless needed by Stripe for payment or receipt handling.
- You can contact us to request deletion of support or feedback records where we can reasonably identify them.
